What we collect

When you contact us. If you use our contact form, email us, or book a consultation, we collect your name, email address, website address if you give one, and anything you write in your message. If you book a call, our scheduling provider also records the time you selected and your time zone.

When you become a client. We collect the information needed to carry out the work and get paid: your business name, billing address, tax number where applicable, product details, the photos and materials you send us, and a record of invoices and payments.

When you visit our website. We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use our pages. This records things like which pages you viewed, roughly where in the world you are, what type of device you used, and which advertisement or link brought you to us. It does not tell us your name.

When we contact you first. We run business to business outreach. For this we use business contact details that are publicly available, such as a company email address published on a company website or shop page, together with publicly visible information about that business.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

• Replying to your enquiry and preparing a quote. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract.

• Carrying out agreed work, delivering files, invoicing. Legal basis: performance of a contract.

• Keeping invoices and accounting records. Legal basis: legal obligation under Hungarian law.

• Business to business outreach to companies who may need our services. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in offering relevant services, balanced against your interests.

• Website analytics and advertising measurement. Legal basis: your consent.

Cold outreach and how to stop it

If we emailed you first, we found your business contact details published publicly, and we contacted you because we believed our services were relevant to your business. You can tell us to stop at any time by replying to the email or writing to hello@pinkhunnylab.com, and we will remove you from our lists and keep a minimal record of your address only so that we do not contact you again.

Cookies and analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies to recognise returning visitors and measure how our pages are used. We also use tracking parameters in links from our emails and advertisements so we can see which campaign brought someone to the site.

You can refuse or delete these cookies through your browser settings, or install Google’s opt out tool at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Refusing them does not prevent you from using the website.

Who else sees your data

We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:

• Google for website analytics, email, and advertising

• Framer for website hosting

• GitHub for hosting our portfolio pages

• TidyCal for consultation bookings

• Meta for advertising measurement

• Wise for invoicing and bank transfers

• Stripe for card payments on monthly plans, where used

Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. Where that is the case, transfers are covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

We never sell your personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else except where we are legally required to.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not become projects: up to 2 years

• Client project records and correspondence: for the duration of the relationship and 2 years afterwards

• Invoices and accounting records: 8 years, as required by Hungarian accounting law

• Outreach suppression list: kept indefinitely, so that we do not contact you again

• Analytics data: according to Google Analytics retention settings, currently 14 months

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@pinkhunnylab.com. We will respond within one month.

If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you can complain to the Hungarian data protection authority:
